This project aimed to research the use of various modelling tools to support to provide coherence and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle from business case to design, to construction, to building operation and use.

Commenting on the value of the research to Skanska David Throssell, Skanska Technology’s UK BIM Technical Manager, noted “We have been working with Dr Harty and his team since early 2008. …This research has been invaluable in moving our thinking about technology implementation beyond the technology to understanding the cultural change issues involved, and how we can better support change management processes.”
